AI Avatar Video from an Image and Audio

An AI avatar video combines a character image with an audio recording to develop a short performance. Start with a clear image you are authorized to animate and a supported recording, then use the available performance instructions. The resulting clip is useful for exploring how a character could present speech or a vocal passage.

The image and recording have different roles: the image guides appearance, while the audio provides timing and vocal material. An avatar task does not itself clone a singing voice, rewrite a script or make the character’s identity verified. Use the separate audio tools when you need to prepare a new voice recording first.

Prepare a Readable Character and Vocal Recording

Choose an image where the face is easy to see and the composition leaves room for the movement you want. Strong occlusion, tiny facial details or an awkward crop can make a performance difficult to assess. Use a clear recording, and check the supported audio duration and file limits shown for the selected model.

Where a prompt is supported, describe the expression and movement that fit the audio rather than requesting unrelated actions. A quiet introduction and an energetic song passage call for different performances. Review the available output options before submitting; not every avatar model exposes the same controls.

Review Avatar Expression, Timing and Likeness

Listen and watch together. Check mouth movement against the words or vocals, facial detail during turns and whether the expression fits the recording. The presence of an audio input does not guarantee perfect synchronization or an exact likeness across the whole clip.

Download a take only after checking its beginning, transitions and ending. For an existing moving video whose mouth timing should be changed, use the separate Lip Sync task. Keep image and audio permissions in mind before sharing a recognizable person’s performance; making an avatar does not grant rights to someone else’s identity or recording.

How to Use AI Avatar Video

  1. 01

Add an avatar image and voice audio

Use a clear character image and an audio recording that you are authorized to use. Follow the selected model’s upload requirements.

  2. 02

    Guide the avatar performance

Describe the expression and movement you want where the model accepts a prompt. Choose the output options shown for that model.

  3. 03

    Review the generated avatar video

Check facial detail, movement and audio timing. A generated avatar performance does not guarantee perfect likeness or lip alignment.

Example inputs to adapt

A Calm On-Camera Performance

A composed performance facing camera, subtle natural head movement, relaxed shoulders and a readable face throughout.

Use only where the selected avatar model accepts a performance prompt. The character image and audio are separate required inputs; this text does not create the voice recording.

AI Avatar Video Use Cases

  • Explore a character delivering an authorized introduction.
  • Develop a short vocal-performance visual.
  • Create a presentation shot from prepared image and audio inputs.

About this example

An avatar task starts from an image and an audio performance. These licensed performances are visual references, not matched image/audio demonstrations from this tool.

A close performance for a short spoken line

What you provide

  • A clear, permitted character image.
  • The audio you want that character to perform.

What to expect

An avatar performance using the supported image and audio inputs.

What to check

  • Inspect mouth movement, expression and facial detail.
  • Use the actual audio timing when reviewing the result.

Licensed performance reference; its input image/audio pair is not supplied.

Keep a simple performance brief

Example brief

A calm front-facing performance with small natural head movements. Keep the expression relaxed and the camera steady.

What you provide

  • Your character image.
  • Your spoken or sung audio, within the selected model’s requirements.

What to expect

A generated character performance; likeness and audio alignment need review.

What to check

  • Start with clear framing and avoid requesting several large actions at once.

AI Avatar Video Questions

How is an avatar video different from lip sync?

The avatar workflow starts with a character image and audio to create a performance. The Lip Sync workflow starts with an existing video and vocal audio. Choose the task that matches the source material you actually have.

Does this tool clone the voice in my audio?

No voice cloning is implied by an avatar task. The recording supplies the audio for the performance. If you need a new spoken recording, prepare it with a supported audio tool and check its use permissions first.

Will the avatar match every word exactly?

Audio timing and facial movement can vary in a generated performance. Review difficult sounds, pauses and transitions in the returned video. A short successful sample does not guarantee the same synchronization for every voice or song.

How much does this task cost?

Review the credit cost displayed for the selected model and output settings before submitting. Available controls, limits and prices depend on that selection. You can prepare the inputs before signing in; submission requires the account and credit checks shown by the workspace.

What should I check before sharing or keeping a result?

Use material you own or have permission to transform and review the applicable service and model terms. Inspect the entire returned file before publishing. Download the results you want to keep; do not treat temporary access or a saved task record as a promise of permanent file storage.
